JKW Thermal Ltd. is a Waterloo, Ontario–based manufacturer of high-quality automotive components.
For over 25 years, we have supported Tier 1 suppliers and OEM programs with reliable production,
responsive service, and a focus on long-term relationships. Our customers trust us to deliver
parts that meet demanding quality and timing requirements, launch after launch.

What We Do
JKW specializes in converting and assembly services for automotive applications. Our core
capabilities include:
- Laminating – Building multi-layer material constructions with adhesives and substrates specified by our customers.
- Precision Die Cutting – Manufacturing tight-tolerance parts for gaskets, pads, thermal and insulation components.
- Hot Melt Glue Application – Applying adhesive in controlled patterns for strong, repeatable bonds.
- Heat Staking & Ultrasonic Welding – Joining plastic components without additional hardware.
- Assembly, Sequencing & Kitting – Delivering line-ready kits and sub-assemblies aligned to our customers’ build sequence.
How We Work
Our approach is hands-on and practical. We work closely with customer engineering, quality, and
production teams to understand part requirements and launch timing.
From early samples through PPAP and into full production, we focus on:
